Overview

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Contract and Purchase Order monthly audits reviews of Defense Supply Chain (SCM) procurement activities.

* Development of the monthly review/audit system, including KPI (key performance indicators).

* Distribute KPI's and metrics to Defense stakeholders.

* Facilitate individual/team SCM training based on review findings and KPI performance.

* Creation and updating of revision-controlled documents and forms.

* Constructing and updating SCM Business Writings.

* Interacting/communicating with SCM and other key stakeholders.

* Responsible for ensuring Defense SCM always maintains an audit-ready position.

* Participate in internal and external audits or assessments.

* Ability to work and interface with diverse levels of Internal/External Customers & Government Personnel.

* Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards within Defense Compliance.

* Be part of a team of compliance individuals focused on maintaining and enhancing not only Spirit's purchasing system, but the other business systems within the Spirit Defense organization and the larger Spirit business as a whole.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

* 6-9 years' experience in a supply chain role, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or other relevant course of study.

* US Citizenship status and the ability to obtain and withhold a security clearance.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint

* Knowledge of SAP/ERP Systems

* High energy, dynamic personality with an ability to effect change

* Knowledge/experience with/in manufacturing and manufacturing process a plus

* Limited travel may be required

Desired Qualifications:

* Knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data.

* Knowledge of procurement processes, investigation, and resolution of complex procurement process issues.

* Supply Chain knowledge with a large defense contractor.

* Experience preparing Supply Chain and other functional organizations for Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR).

* Experience interacting with Government Agencies such as DCMA and DCAA.
