Location: Wichita, KS
Duration: 12 Month Contract

Pay Range: $17-20
Shift: 10a-6:30pm, but training will mostly be on 1st shift

The Receiving Clerk performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, stockroom, kitting, expediting, and shipping and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Receives, unpacks, and examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, invoices, and other records.
- Counts and compares quantity PN and SN amongst other data against PO/RO order.
- Processes receipts and delivery of material from suppliers to other areas of the facility.
- Depending on country of receipt, performs due diligence in accordance with global trade prior to inbound.
- Interfaces with all levels of repair personnel as required. Coordinates with other areas of the facility to determine packing material needs.
- Takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with.
- Looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace.
- Audits work area for safety compliance.
- Performs other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.
- Must have previous computer experience and knowledge/understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to learn new software programs.
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds, position requires both sit/stand for long periods of time.
- Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to focus on task.

Preferred Qualifications:
- International shipping experience.
- Aerospace related work experience.
- Prior shipping/receiving/warehouse/inventory experience.
