INVISTA is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Analyst to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS. A successful candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and has a passion for driving continuous improvement and transformation. They should have an advanced understanding of accounting concepts, excellent critical and economic thinking, and strong communication skills.


What You Will Do

  • Perform complex accounting activities that ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data according to US GAAP requirements and business needs.
  • Lead in the development of efficient and sustainable accounting processes that facilitate strong, risk-based, internal controls and support business growth.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities, develop recommendations, and drive waste elimination and transformation opportunities that will provide value within the organization.
  • Seek and share knowledge, communicate effectively, and build partnerships across the global finance organization, IT, and other capabilities.
  • Partner with others in finance/accounting and IT to influence accounting strategies and priorities.
  • Influence, mentor and develop indirect team members in accounting concepts as well as critical and economic thinking.
  • Potentially supervise and support the development of direct reports.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of related financial accounting and/or financial reporting experience
  • Advanced understanding of General Ledger, Balance Sheet, and Income Statement
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365, and proficiency in advanced Excel skills (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation)
  • This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship


What Will Put You Ahead

  • SAP or OneStream experience
  • Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI or Tableau)
  • Experience mentoring/leading team members
  • Experience with auto, electronics, chemical, or energy industries
