Overview

Spirit AeroSystems designs and builds aerostructures for both commercial and defense customers. With headquarters in Wichita, Kansas, Spirit operates sites in the U.S., U.K., France and Malaysia. Responsibilities

  • Perform audits of policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance to program/contract, company, customer/government, regulatoryrequirements, international standards, and working agreements
  • Conduct research and use benchmarking to industry standards
  • Conduct qualitysystem/process reviews, provide customer interface, and ensurepreventive and corrective action
  • Review products, processes, equipment,and measurement systems
  • Develop or utilize statistical processimprovement methods. Provide technical expertise to company employees,suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies
  • Ensures compliance withcontractual, company, and regulatory requirements to assure qualitysystem compliance
  • Provide education and coaching on the QualityManagement System

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in Quality, in a Specialist, Quality Engineer or Management role
  • Basic Engineering Blueprint/Specification understanding
  • 3-5 years experience working across departments and/or with suppliers
  • Candidate must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. * 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CATIA/VWI knowledge
  • RCCA experience
  • MS office, SAP experience
  • Experienced desired with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and team-based environment
  • Ability to prioritize requests from multiple sources and support requirements
