Job Description
Position: Aftermarket Service Sales
Location: Wichita KS
The Aftermarket Service Sales team member will be responsible for executing the company's service sales role, prospecting new customers, providing total customer service throughout the order life cycle, and provide aftermarket support as needed. An ultimate candidate for this position would be a highly motivated, target driven, self-starter with a proven track record in sales. An ideal balance of your weekly job would be 80% pursuing new business, and 20% completing office work. You will be required to work remotely with admin in other areas of the region, so being technologically competent is a must. The territory that this position covers is Wichita, KS and surrounding markets. Clarified territory will be discussed upon interview. This position pays out with a base salary plus commission structure.
DUTIES:
  • Answering incoming phone, E-Mail, and Fax requests for quote (RFQ's)
  • Generate quotes
  • Enter Orders into Accounting System
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, lead times, and order status.
  • Identify new prospective customers and grow existing customer base.
  • Set up meetings with current customers and "cold calling" crane end users.
  • Increase sales by means of cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Proactively engage customers to increase sales and follow up on older stagnant accounts
  • Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 1-year overhead crane service sales experience
  • College degree
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • Dependable and detail oriented
  • Ability to exercise good judgment/ decision making
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
  • Lift /Carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
  • Ability to utilize/ride in a lift to measure various overhead crane parts.
  • Must be able to work occasionally from up to 35 feet in the air.
  • Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
  • Possess the ability to hear.
  • Exposure to hot and cold conditions.
