Sony Professional Solutions Americas (PSA) is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated intern. Sony is strongly focused on the voice of the customer and our products line is designed to inspire the end-user; the ideal candidate should be customer-focused and think outside the box.

This internship is an opportunity to learn alongside industry experts who are as comfortable data-crunching market segments numbers as they are delivering presentations to the production community. If you are a budding marketer with a passion for videography, or an aspiring director who wants to understand the overall professional production market, Sony is the place to spend your summer.

Some of her/his daily activities will include:

• Support Marketing and Product Managers with their daily efforts
• Participate on product introduction teams
• Help analyze market results
• Interpret and improve social media results
• Assist in the creation of customer presentations and marketing collateral
• Participate in the creation of internal training material
• Gain exposure to professional business tools such a BW and Salesforce.com software
• Assist with public relations / trade show events

Sony Professional Solutions Americas is an intricate part of a global organization. As such the candidate should expect his/her schedule to be flexible; collaborative work with colleagues located in various time zones is expected. This internship is a tremendous opportunity to build a strong marketing and product foundation within the ranks of a global leader in the production industry. Primary Responsibilities:

• Assisting marketing and product managers in daily activities as above
• Database Management, Excel and CRM
• Working on special project teams as needed

Qualifications:

• GPA of 3.0 and above
• Must be able to effectively work both independently and in a team environment
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• The candidate is required to have a mix of professional products and some marketing background
• Video production experience is a strong asset
